Pocket makes it easy to discover great content that’s personalized to your interests, and save this content so you can return to it later – on any device, at any time.
To sign up for Pocket on your iPhone
You can sign up for Pocket with a Firefox, Google, or Apple account.
- Open the Pocket app.
- Tap on the button to sign in.
- Select the account you want to use to sign up. You’ll be redirected to the website of that service to continue the registration process.
- Enter your email and choose password for the selected account.
To log in to Pocket on your iPhone
You can log in to Pocket with a Mozilla account, Google, Apple or a Pocket account.
- Open the Pocket app.

Start using Pocket on your iOS device
When you first open Pocket, you will be presented with a few key features in the navigation bar:
- Home: This will allow you to quickly browse through popular articles or videos that are currently trending on Pocket.
- If you come across an article or video that you want to read or watch later, simply tap on the button located in the bottom right corner of every article.
- Tap the three dots in the bottom right corner to share or report an article.
- Saves: To access your saved articles, simply tap on Saves in the navigation bar. Here, you will be able to see and manage all of your saved content.
- Settings: If you want to customize your Pocket experience, you can access the Settings section. Here, you can adjust your account settings, subscribe to premium, and get support if you encounter any issues.
Customize your Pocket settings
You can find multiple options under your settings just by tapping the settings icon on the bottom right corner of your screen.
Your account
- The Premium subscription section allows you to upgrade to premium, restore your existing subscription, see some frequently asked questions (FAQs), and contact support.
- The Account management section allows you to delete your account permanently.
- The button will sign you out of your account.
App customization
- The Show app badge count option allows you to see all the badges available for the Pocket icon.
- The Always open original view setting controls whether articles you open from the Pocket app will always load in their original web page format or in Pocket’s simplified, distraction-free reading view.
- The App icon section allows you to choose the icon of your Pocket app.
About & support
- The Get help and support setting redirects you to Pocket’s support page.
- The Terms of service section redirects you to Pocket’s service agreement.
- The Privacy policy section redirects you to Pocket’s privacy policy that applies to you when the app is installed.
- The Open source licencses option provides you with a list of all the licenses Pocket has with online libraries and websites.
- The version on the bottom provides you with your app’s information to ensure Pocket is up to date with the most recent version available.
