I have had firefox for 1 year, and, until a few weeks ago, I was very happy with it. All of a sudden, when I open this browser, ebay appears in the search box on the right. No matter what I ask google to search, it searches that term from ebay. I get the same result when I try to make a search from the larger search box. Although I visit ebay often, I do not use my computer for ebay exclusively. I actually removed the firefox from my programs, but, missed it and reinstalled. When I reinstalled, I still have ebay in my search box. Why???? If it can not be removed, I guess I will just remove FF from my programs, permanently. I have just about had it with your new and "improved" program. What good is it, if I cannot do a true google search?

By the way, I tried some of your troubleshooting - "look at the top of your screen, and click the menu item called help". I opened the menu - THERE IS NO WORD 'HELP'.

As far as I am concerned, your new FireFox is no improvement, if I want to make a search from anyplace other than ebay, I have to open my IE. This is what you call an improvement??!!

Thank you Aman Routh. As much as I love eBay, it is not my idea of a search engine. I had actually deleted Firefox from my programs, but, within 2 days, I re-installed with the same problem. Thanks to you, I have google again. I hope you have a lovely weekend. Regards, Trish
