I'm avoiding flash player. Twitch.tv should work fine (and works fine on Edge, with flash disabled). For some reason i keep getting error "no supported video backend available; Flash is not installed" I tried various solutions like clearing cache, disabling addons, reseting firefox, editing about:config media.xxx etc. The problem exists on two computers (using sync).

Most of the Twitch.tv streams is still using Flash Player embedded for video as only the controls and chat are html5 since June and July 2015.

Twitch is planning to change to HTML5 for streams this year sometime.

That's not true. Every twitch stream could be viewed without flash. I'm talking not only about twitch, youtube works fine though
