The problem I encounter has happened since I begin to use Firefox on Windows 11. The same problem happened to my Macbook as well, but a workaround is available. While with Windows 11, I can't find the solution anywhere on the web. Whenever I type on the browser, if I write a non-character notation right behind the word (like "this,"), the word would usually auto delete itself or sometimes, the word clone itself out (e.g, wordword, thisthi, etc.) or it deletes a small section of words right behind that non-char. I don't have insert turning on. I am quite uncertain whether you can reproduce this error on your laptop (for me, I have been through 2 windows 11 laptop and this error still persist). This error seems to only occurs for Vietnamese (Telex and VNI) default keyboard from Microsoft, Russian and English work fine. I suspect that it is caused by Microsoft Vietnamese, but I have unchecked all kind of spelling checking on settings. So should I use a third-party Vietnamese language typing for this situation or does it caused by something else?

https://home.oki-toki.net/login is a VOIP site, it calls the client after connection a new tab opens. The problem is that I can't hear the client until I click on the “oki toki” tab. When I click, I can see that only at that moment the client is connected (the button on the site indicates this, take my word for it). Previously on Chrome there was no such problem and I could hear the client immediately without having to go back to “oki toki”. I have enabled all sites to automatically play video and audio. In the deep settings, I disabled the function to automatically unload tabs when running out of memory. This did not help. This problem regardless of whether the browser is open or minimized. Please help

if you join for example a jitsi meeting and switch to another tab then the favicon of the jitsi page gets replaced by a red microphone icon. this replacement keeps running in an animation favicon -> microphone icon -> favicon -> ...

for motion sensitive persons this is terrible.

how to disable the animation

When I highlight a word while browsing, and right-click that, I get the option to search with Google, the search engine it is configured for. However I often would rather go directly to Wikipedia. I do NOT want to make that the default for search, but I would find having another line below "Search Google for " that offers "Search Wikipedia for ". Such an option would save me considerable work. Is there such an option? If so I could not find it. (If not, dare I suggest it as an enhancement?)

Hi, I have a python script that send notification email from my server using an outlook account. Microsoft recently changed their security requirement in June 2024. So, I cannot just use SMTP with password anymore, but I can send an email using Thunderbird.

My question: Is there an API for Thunderbird that I can use to send my notification emails ?

bold textUpon restarting and opening Firefox it always opens in a small screen. I need to change the default. opening settings in Firefox or MacOS but cannot find anything. I have emptied my history and cache without improvment.

As of yesterday there is a issue on both my computers. Email does not get send. If you create a email and then press send the window somewhat dimes and nothing happens. It is possible to save the email in the concepts folder after the message window is closed. Secondly Cardbook behaves funny. If you select a group no contacts are shown at all. Only if you select the address book contacts are shown. I retrieve my 300 contacts from a NextCloud server. I depend havily on as being active in two different bridge clubs. When I watched the Cardbook screen I saw that the contact were not updated. It happened when I manually started the process. I hope for a solution because I use mass mailing with Thunderbird.

When I try to log in with my outlook account it fails even though my microsoft login @outlook.com works the same error happens in K9 mail I tried even changing some of the configuration setting. If this is a bug please report it if possible or direct as to how to report it. If you require log files let me know and provide a way to email or upload them also explain how to extract them and mention if I must try to sign in again.

I want to access my android tabs from my desktop tabs but it keeps "Sign in to Firefox on your other devices" i am singed in on other devices and i can access my desktop tabs from them yet i suddenly became unable to do the opposite, it keeps telling me to sing in to other devices and i do that but nothing happens.

I set up multiple Gmail accounts on TB, and all work as expected. I have turned off Win 11 telemetry and I use an always-on, kill-switch VPN. On TB, each of the outgoing SMPT servers is set to a different Gmail account.

Keeping in mind the settings, above: can Google determine somehow, through TB keys/OAUTH/data/settings etc., that the user of one Gmail account is the same user of another Gmail account?

Also, I can post this question to the separate Android blog, but if anyone here knows the answer to the same question with K-9 (F-droid version), I'd appreciate it.

there are two issues, (rtx 3090 for HW decoding)

1) the first one, video blocking (when quality switching)

2) sometimes freezing (especially in 2k resolution)

Also i have tried the other chromium based browsers, they do not any of this problems

When I try to looking for My bookmarks, only appear 3 (three) options for the bookmarks, one (1) of this, is Bookmarks toolbar show.

Only appear those options in Bookmarks, and recent bookmarks.

I need know Where is the joke?
