Good morning, I had asked a question early on Saturday, but was unavailable the rest of the weekend so just now responding to associate Corey Bryan's answer. I had gotten a message that I am using an unsupported version and they recommend downloading the latest stable version. He said it appears that I'm on the "Release" channel and most likely want to be on the ESR channel. I also mentioned that I am a cave-man when it comes to anything computer and am very skittish about making any changes as I don't how to straighten out any errors that might occur. He asked me where I installed Thunderbird from and the answer is that I don't know. It was an IT guy that did it many years ago. So I guess my questions are, if I've been using this version for years, do I need to or should I update it? If so, if I click on the latest stable version of Thunderbird, will that change anything on my computer, aside from getting the newer version of T-Bird? And will my e-mails in Thunderbird look any different? Thanks very much for the help. Tony

All of my desktop bookmarks are on mobile, but after resetting my password they won't sync back to my desktop. I can't even access them from my desktop, despite browsing data still being clearly accessible. I have 10 years of bookmarks on my mobile device that for whatever reason now will not transfer to my desktop firefox no matter what I try. Since there's no way to manually export to xml on mobile I have no way of accessing these and I am at risk of losing 10 years of bookmarks, many of which are vital to the work I do.

I have an mp4 (h264 AAC) video of 37MB which plays acceptably from my website in Safari, Chrome and Edge, but when played in Firefox (my default browser) the sound and picture synch is significantly seperated. When the video is compressed to 26MB it suffers some expected loss of sound quality but plays with near perfect lip synch. What is the issue with playback ?

I'm having trouble opening mail from a remote folder.

I ran this command to authorize the removable media: sudo snap connect thunderbird:removable-media :removable-media

If I mount my remote folder via fstab with this configuration, I can open remote mail with Thunderbird:

user@server:remote_folder/ /media/user/remote_folder fuse.sshfs noauto,x-systemd.device-timeout=5,x-systemd.mount-timeout=5,x-systemd. automount,follow_symlinks,rw,_netdev,users,idmap=user,uid=1000,gid=1000,IdentityFile=/home/user/.ssh/id_rsa,allow_other,reconnect,ServerAliveInterval=5,ServerAliveCountMax=1 0 0

On the other hand, if I mount the same remote folder with the sshfs command :

sshfs -o idmap=user user@server:remote_folder /media/user/remote_folder -o follow_symlinks

Unable to open mail.

Ubuntu 24.04 Thunderbird 128.2.3esr

My account is izak@ibomax.co.za. This is not the first time that I donated but failed to connect and load Thunderbird. Seemed like I was tricked into donating without being able to use the program.

im not very good with tech so ive probably clicked the wrong things, but i cant use my firefox at all anymore. only to search up 'google.com' lol. it opens on the homescreen, but when i want to search anything it always comes out on the screen in the image included. ive been using firefox for a year or so and never had issues. ive tried deleting and reinstalling, restarting my laptop, the whole deal. im on windows 10 but that shouldnt be the issue i imagine. ive asked some friends and they dont understand it either. id love to get some help otherwise i might have to go back to google chrome D:

My page throws errors in Firefox Nightly such as

The page references ten CSS files besides having dozens of its own CSS declarations. The issue is tha the reference provided to the error (:1:1) does not indicate where I can find the error. That is, I don't know which declaration is at fault. Is there some straighforward way to find the declaration in question?

I have successfully installed Bitdefender Securepass extension on Firefox and enabled it. As far as I know I am not usinf private window but I have no Icon to click on to open

extension as I previously had with Bitdefender Password Manager.

Thunderbird v128.5.0 esr (November 2024) Installation of a few days. I am new to Thunderbird. I have only one email account.

I use directories in "Local folders" to manage incoming emails. I want to move (Move to) an email from "Incoming mail" to a directory previously created in "Local folders" --> IMPOSSIBLE I drag the email to the directory but nothing happens, the destination directory remains empty!? No error message?

Can you inform me about this problem, Thank you

Not responding message after each time sending an email, I have to wait a while as it freezes every time. Safe mode does the same. It is all up to date also. I use imap.mail.eu-west-.......

The autostart of the page is attached. It is not possible to disable it. I have tried everything. I have uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it, but unfortunately the page still appears every time I start firefox. Before the update everything was fine, but after the last update it keeps showing me this instead of a blank page with favorites

I have two Outlook addresses which appear identical in their settings. One address receives and sends mail perfectly. The other receives no mail in its Inbox, does receive mail in Junk and can send mail perfectly. I have repaired the Inbox folder, compared settings with the account which works but can see no difference. The machine is a Windows 11 laptop and the problem has been ongoing for the past year. TB is currently running version 128. Any idea where I have gone wrong?

With the release of Firefox 133, I switched from the add-on Tree-sized tabs to the newly implemented Vertical tabs, and so far I really like the feature. Although, I was wondering if there was a way to reduce the width of the expanded sidebar? Thank you for taking the time to answer my question.

Does anyone know where Mozilla wallpapers are stored? I wanted to set a wallpaper from Mozilla's menu as the desktop wallpaper on my laptop. I looked for hidden files and checked the forums, but I can't find them in the given locations e.g. my profile. Maybe these files are masked somehow. I'm looking for particular wallpaper from the abstraction category (screenshot). Can anyone tell me how to find it?
