Thunderbird implements the "n" next and "p" previous keyboard shortcuts in the message list view. Super useful shortcuts!
However they have now changed and become very user unfriendly.
Hitting 'n' moves the selected message down to the next message. If you are halfway down the list then it simply selects the next message. No auto-scroll happens.
However if you hit 'p' for some reason the whole view scrolls and aligns the selected message as the top message in the view. This is super unwelcome and jarring to the user. It should only scroll if you are already at the top and hit 'p' again.
The fact that 'n' and 'p' are inconsistent makes me think this was not intened behaviour. Can the 'p' behaviour be reverted back to 'no scroll'?
