You didn't explain what prevents you from increasing the cache.
Having said that, 1 GB cache is already ridiculously large, what exactly do you expect from increasing it to 2 GB? Do you have any idea what the cache is used for?

After increasing the cache size to 1 GB? And when doing what? What makes you think the 'spinning wheel' is related to the cache size in the first place?
