DuckDuckGo

Since the version 79 update, DuckDuckGo has disappeared from my list of search engines. I understand that I have to figure out the search URL parameters and add it manually. What concerns me is that most people won't be able or bother to figure it out. Since Firefox primarily markets itself as valuing privacy and freedom, why isn't DuckDuckGo an option?

Hi Kristo

When you look at the Search settings in the Firefox for Android menu, you should see DuckDuckGo listed as a choice for the default search provider.

That's a negative. The only options are Google, Twitter, YouTube, Wikipedia, and Reddit.

That's odd, I wonder whether the list varies by region?

When I go into Settings > Search on Firefox Nightly (future evolution of Firefox 79) it lists:

Google, Amazon.com, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Twitter, Wikipedia, +Add search engine

If I tap the menu icon next to a search engine and then tap Delete, it gets added to the list shown after I tap Add search engine. If you go to Add search engine, is DDG available there?
