Certain websites font's have gone weird in Firefox, it's not reproducable on other computers just my own.

I have looked through this community and run through:

   Set gfx.canvas.azure.backends & gfx.content.azure.backends to direct2d1.1,skia,cairo
   Set gfx.font_rendering.cleartype_params.rendering_mode to 0
   Set gfx.downloadable_fonts.otl_validation to true
   Disabled hardware acceleration

Firefox Version is: 90.0.2 64-bit Windows 10 21H1 All drivers are up to date

Attached are screenshots from Chrome (what the website is meant to look like) & Firefox - I prefer Firefox over Chrome so I would rather not move.

Type about:preferences#general<enter> in the address bar. Across from fonts and colors, press the Advanced button. On the bottom, turn on Allow Web Sites To Choose Their Own.

Make sure you haven't enabled a High Contrast theme in the OS settings.

Hi FredMcD,

This is already ticked - I havent got High contrast settings set either on Windows 10 - It's default (I dont like to mess with the themes)

It looks that Firefox is using a condensed or narrow font variant.

You can right-click and select "Inspect Element" to open the builtin Inspector with this element selected.

You can check in the Rules tab in the right panel in the Inspector what font-family is used for selected text. You can check in the Font tab in the right panel in the Inspector what font is actually used because Firefox might be using a different font than specified by the website.

Found another website this happens on - Facebook's login page.

There have been posts on reddit about Helvetica fonts. One user was advised to delete the particular fonts from his computer. I will post the link separately as it has to be moderated.
