I can't find clear information about syncing my Hotmail email account contacts to my Pixel 7a Android phone using Thunderbird email client for Android.

Is that possible? If not, will it be coming?

I have a self-made JavaScript-HTML-Calendar on my local file system. I use JavaScript to change the dom, for example to mark a day in the calender as "holiday" or "work". When I use the "Save as" function of Firefox, Firefox does not save the new version of the dom anymore, it does not overwrite the HTML-file on the disc. It worked fine until mid october 2024, but it seems a recent update changed something.

It still works with other browsers, it is only Firefox i have this problem with.

Does somebody know which setting may have been changed causing this problem?

Can I build my own version of Thunderbird for Android from the Github source? There is a (ridiculous) shortcoming in Thunderbird and also K-9 that seems trivial to fix. Indeed, K-9 does occasionally fix it, only to remove the fix in subsequent versions.

I have some experience with creating Windows applications from Github code, but have no idea how to build an Android app ...

Dear All. The setting to export account settings to the mobile version of Thunderbird does not work. Mozilla Thunderbird Ver.128.4.0esr (64bit) Japanese Edition cannot generate QR Code. Hello, I use Thunderbird offline quite a bit as I don't always have access to internet. For emails, Thunderbird works wonderfully, thank you very much! For RSS feeds, I can read the Summary of articles offline but not the full article, as I have to use the webview. On my phone, I have Feeder Android app that gives an option to "fecth full articles", I can then read the whole article offline.

Is it possible to do this with Thunderbird?

I take a lot of screenshots using Firefox's built in screenshot tool to share with my friends. After a while it slows down my Photos folder and I move them elsewhere. However, I cannot move, delete, or even rename any of the 18 photos shown in the photo below. They are all from Twitter/X, but this error does not apply to every screenshot from Twitter - I was able to move or delete most of them. However, it is ONLY happening with photos from Twitter. They are not Read Only so I don't know what the issue is. I'm not having this issue with Windows Snip tool, only Firefox Screenshots.

I am attempting to configure the "Simple Tab Groups" extension (having failed to get any help working with the more complicated Sideberry). Following instructions in firefox's "How to use Containers" article: viz: Enable Firefox containers

 " Click the menu button  and select Settings.
   In the General panel, scroll down to the Tabs section.
   Make sure the box next to Enable Container Tabs is checked. "

The "enable Container Tabs" is at the end of the list and is paler type with the box appearing checked; clicking it does not change it. Does that mean it is already self-enabled so that I cannot click it ? This might seem a stupid question but, I am only trying to follow directions! (Now you see why, without directions, I couldn't set up Sideberry. GitHub people wouldn't even answer my questions. I'm not a coder.

When I download a PDF and attempt to Save It, it now asks "Save Full Page" or "Save Visible"... It did not do that in the past. In the past I was able to save a PDF and Name and Save it without having to select the above options.

I use Firefox on a Dell Windows laptop. I used to be able to drag pinned bookmarks from my toolbar to the sidebar in the toolbar customization page; now, I can't. What's changed, and how do I move them now?

"Save to Pocket" doesn't appear on Share menu, How can it be enabled? Android 14, all patches up to date for this manufacturer, including FireFox.

when ever i try to use Firefox to do a Facebook or /messenger video or audio with some on on Facebook it does not let me/. I have tried with all add on disabled and still no. Come on tell me how or what to do. There are others saying the same thing . can you fix it or tell me how to make it work. I have to go to Chrome to use it. Just not right i have used firefox for more that i can remember but if it keeps up you may have me switch to chrome. Please fix it or tell me how to get it

Firefox inhibits power management, causing the screensaver to not activate. This happens when I am not running a video. It happens if I open a website that has video but I do not run the video. If I turn off Firefox the screensaver works. Screensaver is set to activate at 5 minutes. Power Management is set to turn off screen when inactive for 7 minutes. Linuxmint 21.3. and on another computer - Linuxmint 22.0

This has happened on my 2 laptops with one particular website. Firefox is updated as required.... It has worked before. On the Norwegian ( NCL ) website , if you go to the " excursion " link , pick a port , you see the 1st available tours...at the bottom of the page stating " 1-12 of 24 NEXT." However when you click the " highlighted" NEXT , nothing happens.....I have tried every combinations of settings....This feature, however works on my other browser with No additional settings....I was Always able to accomplish this.
