Firefox allows you to customize your Firefox New Tab page with a selection of wallpapers, from sleek solid colors to artistic abstract designs and captivating photographs, giving your browser a fresh look that suits your style.

You can personalize your Firefox New Tab page by adding one of the available wallpapers. Follow these steps:

1. In the top right corner of the New Tab page, click the gear icon.
2. In the customization panel, under the Wallpapers section, you will see different categories like Solid colors, Abstract and Photographs.
   • Click on the category you prefer. For example, selecting Abstract will show a variety of abstract designs.

   

3. Click on a wallpaper from the selected category to preview it. The wallpaper will be applied immediately as you select it.
   • For example, if you choose a wallpaper from the Abstract category, it will be displayed as the background on your New Tab page.

   

4. After selecting your desired wallpaper, at the top of the panel, click next to the wallpaper category name to return to the customization panel.
5. Click Close to close the panel.

Now, whenever you open a new tab, your selected wallpaper will be displayed, giving your Firefox a personalized touch.

Reset wallpaper to default

To reset to your default background on the New Tab page:

1. In the top right corner of the New Tab page, click the gear icon.
2. In the customization panel, under the Wallpapers section, click Reset to Default.
3. Click the Close button at the top right to exit the customization panel.
