I'm trying to login to my Mozilla account on a new laptop. I go through the usual process, and it appears to succeed, but when I get to about:preferences?action=pair#sync, the UI says "Please sign in to reconnect".

I noticed that Mozilla was sending TWO identical authorization code email messages, so I thought that there might be a problem with the new and old laptops having the same hostname (they do). So I logged out completely from the new device, changed the hostname, rebooted, and tried again.

It didn't help, and I continue to receive TWO identical email messages when I try to login (and the login continues to fail).

I've read that this could be profile related, but this is an absolutely new OS install: the only profile is "default".

Anybody seen (or fixed) this?
