how extention update works ?
i have developed a toolbar for firefox. i want to host it on my server . I have read on ur forum that for updating addon i just need to host my toolbar on secure site and add updateurl in install.rdf file . i just want to know how this update method works , how it will come to know that hosted xpi file is latest or older one ?
