I have downloaded Firefox but it will not open. I have tried several times to install and then uninstall, but it still does not work.

We used to use Firefox..but for whatever reason it stopped opening. We uninstalled it and we found that the old version of Firefox would open but it would straight away update to the new version and then the problems would begin again and it would not open.

Chosen solution

Using another browser, download the FULL installer from Download Firefox Full Installer For All languages And Systems {web link} Save the file. Then;

Using your file browser, open the Programs folder on your computer.

Windows: C:\Program Files C:\Program Files (x86) Mac: Open the "Applications" folder. Linux: Check your user manual.

Look for, and rename any Mozilla and Firefox folders by adding .old to them.

Now run the full installer.

Great to hear. Now open the Programs folder and remove the OLD folders. Good Luck.
