I would like to create a calendar event directly from an email message so that the event links to the email or at least contains the information in the message. It looks like this does not exist in Lightning but perhaps there is an add-on?

If there is no way to do that directly, what is the best option for linking to the information in the email message? Just cutting and pasting the information in the message? It would be better to link to the email directly but maybe that is not possible.

I thought I could save the email as a file and then save it as an attachment to the event. However, when I click "Attachment" at the bottom of the event, nothing seems to happen. No new window opens so I cannot select a file. Does this mean that my installation may be corrupt?

Oh, that is great to know. I had looked at the right-click menu many times and somehow overlooked this.
