Hi,

I am trying to search for "T&D Supplies" and the search is truncated to "T. This occurs in both Bing and Google on Firefox 134.0.1 running on a 2024 MacBook Pro running Sonoma 14.7. This issue does not occur when using Safari or Chrome browsers. I am entering my search directly into the search field on the Google and Bing homepages, and not using the URL bar.

Thanks, Harry

From a couple of last days, My Website [https://mytodayshoroscope.com/] looks broken on mozilla where as it works correctly on other browsers. A couple of visitors complained about the problem and I am unable to understand the reason behind this.

Is there anything that I need to get fixed from the developer?

Help appreciated.

Thank you.

Hello, I am suffering from an odd issue when using twitch.tv. In short, when viewing peoples streams, my video feed will usually turn into colorful static (aka "clown vomit"). I suspect that the issue is coming from Firefox, but I can't be certain. I am using a newly-bought laptop and the issue could be caused by a large number of things, theoretically. Here is what I know:

  • When viewing on twitch.tv with quality 360p or higher, the video feed will usually (95%) become colorful static within 1 minute or less. When this happens, the video feed does not ever recover until page is refreshed or quality is changed. (I know a bit about video encoding, so this seems extremely odd to me, if it were due to a networking thing that lost some packets, a full-image frame should come alone sooner or later and fix things, but that never seems to happen)
  • The video feed is far less likely to become corrupted when viewing at 160p, but can still happen.
  • The ads may become corrupted in the same way that the main video feed can.
  • When the feed is corrupted, the rest of the Twitch interface (pause/play, volume, quality select) is extremely laggy.
  • When the feed is corrupted, if I pause the stream, sometimes the paused corrupted image is not completely stationary! There will be flickering in small portions of the image, looking similar to texture fighting in 3d rendering, flickering between two equally-but-differently corrupted versions of the image
  • The issue never appears when using Chrome to watch twitch.tv. This is what makes me think Firefox is the culprit, not Twitch or networking or graphics drivers.
  • Disabling my browser addons does not help.
  • Private browsing window does not help.
  • Clearing my browser cache does not help.
  • I have had the issue happen on Youtube exactly once in 2 weeks, not sure if that's related or not, I think it was a normal "lost some network traffic but fixed itself the next time a full frame was received" thing.
  • Video live streams on Youtube don't get corrupted the way they do on Twitch.

Can someone please give me advice for how to fix this? Has anyone seen anything like this before? Is there a way for me to get deeper under the hood of either Twitch or Firefox and more closely debug the video stream when it fails?

Second website I've encountered in just a few days where Firefox will not display the article that appears below the initial screen. Both sites use the "down arrow" symbol at the bottom of the page to indicate that the reader needs to scroll down to continue viewing. When I scroll, there is no article, just a jumbled version of the menu information at the bottom of most websites. Edge and Chrome display the article properly.

Here's the latest site with that problem: https://www.defensenews.com/naval/2023/10/04/can-the-us-navy-save-money-by-accepting-the-lcs-as-a-sunk-cost/.

Any help is appreciated.

I am unable to log into Strava.com on my PC or lap top. Both run Windows 11, are completely updated. I receive an error message:'Unexpected error has occurred. Please try again'. I have gone to tools/privacy/passwords and insured that they are correct. My wife has a Dell laptop that runs Windows 11 and Firefox and I was also unable to log in to Strava on this machine. I don't think that I had this problem with my PC before purchasing a new PC because the old one could only run Windows 10.

Hello, When I view some pages with inline video graphics, I see a garbled video frame. I have attached a screen grab from part of one screen. I have no issues with YouTube or other videos. It's just the graphics of some webpages such as looking at an Apple product on their site. I have not had this issue using Chrome under the same conditions. It's like I have a corrupted Codec or something. Does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks.

When I go to the website https://www.rebateinternational.com/RebateInternational/contactUs.do and I try to fill out the webform on that page and use autofill to fill in the e-mail address, it gives me an error message that says "please enter a valid email address" even though the e-mail address is valid. Also, if I do not use autofill, but simply type everything in manually, it still gives me that same error message. This problem does not occur in Google Chrome, but it does occur in Firefox. Sometimes I can solve the problem by erasing part of the email address and then re-typing that part, but that doesn't always work. It also doesn't work if I erase the entire e-mail address and type it in manually. The problem does not appear to be caused by add-ons and does not appear to be caused by hardware acceleration, because I have disabled add-ons and have turned off hardware acceleration. It also does not appear to be caused by cache and cookies, because the same problem occurs after I clear the cache and cookies. I will appreciate any response you can provide to help solve this problem.

I have lately found two sites where I cannot log in using Firefox but can, using another browser (Chrome). I get variations of an error message saying a technical problem has been encountered and try again later. I have tried clearing cache and cookies but it doesn't help. I am using version 134.0 (64-bit) running under Windows 11, version 24H2. Has anyone else had this problem? I want to keep using Firefox but this is getting inconvenient.

When I attempt to log into resources using CloudFlare via Firefox developer edition it get the CloudFlare captcha and after checking that I am not a bot, the login page refreshes and I am presented with the CloudFlare captcha again.

I have been forced to use Google Chrome until I get this issue resolve. I have disabled all the security features in Firefox setting and still I cannot login to resources hosted on CloudFlare.

I want to continue to use Firefox, but cannot do so until I get a satisfactory solution to this issue.

The only thing I can think of try ing at this point is to uninstall and reinstall Firefox.

Any ideas would be most appreciated.

Website will not allow Firefox to display the page if another site has embedded it Firefox, Firefox for Android Last updated: 2 weeks, 5 days ago 28% of users voted this helpful

If you encounter this error, it is likely because a website is attempting to display another website without the owner's consent. This issue typically arises from a security misconfiguration.

Websites can utilize x-frame options or a content security policy to control whether other websites can embed them. These are essential security tools designed to prevent clickjacking, a type of attack where malicious sites trick users into clicking on something different from what they perceive.

To visit a site that displays this error message, you can hold down the control key while you click the link and select Open Link in New Tab or Open Link in New Window. Alternatively, you can copy and paste the link into an already open new tab or window. However, be aware that the embedding page may not function correctly without access to the blocked content. In such cases, you may need to contact the owner of the problematic site for further assistance.

Have done all the usual cache clearing etc. Would a recent upgrade have affected this?
