TB was working great until ten days to two weeks ago. Now it constantly crashes, crash reports fail to send, can't open emails, reply or forward, nothing works and then it crashes again. I have had complete virus scans, malware scans, threat scans done and none are detected.

What happened? I love TB but it no longer works.

It's bee a very long time since I've been able to zoom in on email messages using the shortcut CTRL+. Drilling through the menu works, but on some messages I have to go through all that 2 or 3 times to get the text large enough. I on version 128.4.2, Lenovo Thinkpad, and Windows 11, 64 bit. Is there anyway to fix this? That same shortcut works just fine in my browser, Opera version 114.0.5282.102, or anywhere else I use it.

Guten Tag, ich habe einen neuen PC mit windows 11. Auf dem alten PC mit windows 8 konnte ich Thunderbird nicht mehr geöffnet werden mit dem Hinweis " findet XPCOM nicht " .

Nun fehlen alle lokalen Ordner ( und die sind wichtig ! ) Wie kann ich die in der neuen Version einfügen ?

ich bin leider nicht sehr bewandert in Computerangelegenheiten und im Profilordner sind diese ganzen Unterordner nicht mehr drin. BITTE DRINGEND UM HILFE !!!! DANKE

Hi Community, This is so sad, after SO many years of using Thunderbird as my Primary EMail Application, then suddenly, after instlalling version 128.4.2. (64) , all I can get is 'Connection to server is reset'... I never wanted to move to another provider and would have been willing to donate to this Anniversary request, but how can I - when I cannot even get into my EMail..... It's been many years Thunderbird but I can even see (respectfully) from the 'very-few-responses' to the community questions, that there appear to be NO answers here.... In any event I thank you and wish you good luck but feel free to contact me, if you get a resolution to this issue, which happened the day after installation of 128.4.2. (x64).

Dear ,

we send a note as i handle average day, some 1000 emails in thunderbird.

for handling this , we use thunderbird last 10 years, where as the mail toolbar is:

previous - next - (delete ) - (junk )

In all versions up to 2023 , we would install above 4 (four ) settings on one line after each other.

In the new version from 2024 , the settings between: ( ) , are no longer in the main possibilies, but

we must use these settings on the line under; which takes far more time than all on one line.

Is it possible to have the ( ) settings, in the next new version , back again , like before ??

Hello, Looking to export my W.10 installed: 128.4.2esr (64-bit) But the Export to Mobile does not show my account.

I have a single email running POP inbound and SMTP out with SSL/TLS.

Should I be able to export that to mobile?

I am getting very frustrated with the junk mail. I have very important emails ending up in junk. They aren't marked as junk but they are still being put in junk. Most are in my address book so shouldn't be there at all. Even when I mark them as not junk, they still get put in junk. I've reset the adaptive junk and it makes no difference. I've even turned off all junk settings and they still go into junk! I'm totally at a loss as to what to do. Please, can someone help? I'm seriously considering giving up on Thunderbird and using a different email client.

I am dislexic and sometime mis-type the destination domain address. Can I get Thunderbird to check the domain exists before sending it to the mail server? I can't find an addon to do this. Sometimes there is a considerable wait before I get an error message back.

I can not create, delete or view peoperties of Folders. When ever I rey to create a folder I gate the following error in the error console:

As secretary of a bridge club I use "replay to" very frequently. To my surprise it behaves funny with version 128.4.2. When send to recipients and replaying to the recieved email I see the screen where another account signature is used and the replay is not filled in. As this is send to about 100 people its not nice. Hope you can fix this.

Thunderbird on my laptop (Win10pro on an I-7 HP laptop) keeps freezing (not crashing) and after installing on my Android (Moto G7+) the app freezes every single time I try to read the QR code on my desktop. Arrrggghhhh, can anyone help? I'm an experience computer user and Thunderbird user for over 20 years and all my other software works fine on both Desktop and Android.

I have 3 accounts with Gmail They are/ were all the same setup and everything was fine for years and now they are starting to not work properly. The sent mail folder doesn't work on one and it can't be deleted like the other 2. Delete and reinstall fixed it on one. And now the accounts functions are being merged. I deleted the sent mail on one and it deleted another one as well. The "fix" on the box for sent doesn't do anything. One account was getting mail in the inbox and sent mail box, the same message. And one account stopped sending mail but was receiving ok and I kept getting error messages that it was a bad address from Google. I've been playing with it for hours and finally got it sending and receiving to the right accounts I think. It's still set up per your directions for gmail. And I've rebooted TB and the computer a half a dozen times. Oh and TB also crashed once and sent the report. I hope you can figure this out because something is obviously corrupted. Thanks.
