in the first instance log into your mail using your browser and clear the spam folder (sometime corrupt messages can cause issues, but in that instance you usually get the same old messages and no new ones as the corrupt message is encountered each time)

Do you have your profile folder on a drive that is being synchronized or backed up as it is updated? (streaming backups and cloud synchronization or network storage are all problematical) or in a location on your drive where the anti virus can scan while the update is occurring (turn that off)

Dear Matt,

thank you for the response.

My spam folder is empty.

My profile folder is not being synchronized or backed up.

I keep getting the same email messages every time i check for new messages. Backup or synchronization or antivirus scan does not work all the time. Am i correct?

If you have any other ideas it would be very helpfull.

Thank you, Kostas
