Hi farid, Firefox does not keep a backup of the full profile folder.

Firefox does make bookmark backups when you add/delete bookmarks, but only for a couple of weeks. You can see the available backups using the steps in this article: Restore bookmarks from backup or move them to another computer.

By the way, if your entire Firefox setup changed all at once, it's possible that you are using a new profile and can still switch to the old one. Please see this article: Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles (please do not use "Remove").

Hi Leon, you can store login data on Mozilla sync servers -- so it can be shared among your Firefox installations -- by enabling Firefox Sync and keeping saved logins selected. Otherwise, the data is only on disk.

Sync data is encrypted with your Firefox Account password before uploading, which makes it unreadable to Mozilla.
