I can access the Facebook website, but there's no content available. The page isn't populated. It's just blank! Yesterday Facebook was down for a while, and since it came back on I am unable to access the content, only on my laptop. It's available on my iPad and iPhone.

Chosen solution

Try this:

  1. Open a new url with about:permissions
  2. search for facebook in the list on the left
  3. Click "Forget this site"
  4. Restart Firefox

Is it working?

If it happens again then try these steps in case of issues with web pages:

You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.

  • Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
  • Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
  • Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)

Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
