After following instructions to stop firefox in task manager ( it was not showing as running), I tried to find my profile. I followed instructions by going to start button and entering %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\ but could not find a profile file. I have shut down several times but still get same error message, so currently can't use firefox. Help please Arbrew

You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:

  • Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder

Use "Firefox/File > Exit" (Mac: "Firefox > Quit"; Linux: "File > Quit") to close Firefox if you are currently doing that by clicking the close X on the title bar.
