A few problems could cause this. Try Firefox in safemode, also review what is set as your homepages.

Can you give a bit more detail of what happens and

• whether this is just on initial startup ?
• what happens if you close all but one tab ?
  what happens then ?
• can you describe what you mean by keeps on refreshing

hello lucawater, it sounds like a theme or extension might be interfering here. please try launching firefox in safe mode once and see if the issue is occurring there too. in case it's working correctly, please go to firefox > addons > extensions and disable/remove any extension that look suspicious/you didn't install intentionally or that might interfere with the tab loading behaviour.

I have almost the same issue except I have found that my browser refreshes only on certain websites that appear to have the same kind of constantly changing advertisements. I did not notice the refreshing until I installed "navigational sounds". I have disabled all add-ons but still see the refresh button cycling (refreshing), my guess is that unless one installs the navigational sounds add-on, they are unaware that refreshing is being performed so this issue may be affecting more people than is known.
