Problems displaying comments &/or playing videos on Yahoo
Having problems w/FF displaying/loading either the comment sections of Yahoo websites or their embedded videos. It's either loads the video after waiting 5min or it doesn't load the video and shows the "loading" symbol as loading but never finishes. It will load and play in IE but is never as smooth as in FF browser. This is the extension and it was reloaded and and left alone to load while accessing this Forum page. link as follows: http://screen.yahoo.com/movie-clips-holly-on-top-project-x-28480079.html

Hi,
Please also check if this happens in Safe Mode after clearing the cache and cookies: Tools (Alt + T) > Clear Recent History, choose Everything in Time range to clear, Cache and Cookies in Details and Clear Now. Clear Recent History
I did run a full swipe of cookie and video cache. Did a Mozilla and Windows check for any updates, I'm current on everything. It's completely erratic. I never know if or when this will happen. Today: March 4; it loads video but not comments this time. It says, on the page, there was a problem loading comments. On a couple of other Yahoo pages, it loaded the comments but not the video and there was the Daily Ticker; it was totally normal, including a smooth video feed.
Does the page load fully after a normal F5 refresh??
It just reloads to the same extent as originally opened; no more no less. Update to the original post with that link: I copied and pasted the link today exactly from this original thread and it was fine. So, it's still as erratic as before. Side note; anything I open in IE has no problems loading except the video's are very choppy. I don't use IE because of no add-ons and no virus protection; plus it's slow as hell.
Please also try a new profile. If it is consistently okay, you can later transfer needed files from the previous profile to this. You can also try to temporarily turn off the security software completely, at least before browsing known safe sites for testing.
