when doing image search (not by words ) in Yandex or Google the CPU clock is at full throttle (4.51ghz) And the pc starts to heat and slow down. on any other usage the pc is great . 8cores 16threads NVME 3X4 32gb ram gtx 3060 There is no issue on : ungoogled chromium_129.0.6668.100-1.1_windows_x64

I have a Mac that was running Sequoia 10.14.7 I think. Firefox hasn't been giving search results since yesterday so I updated Firefox and restarted it. Still got blank pages after updating. Firefox suggested re-installing so I did. I got no warning DURING installation that the newest version would not work with Sequoia. There was a light gray circle slash through the icon when I installed it, but have never see that when installing apps before. I was given an option to replace the original Firefox or install a second version, so I chose "replace," thinking I was keeping it simple. I updated Mac OS to Catalina 10.15.7--an action I've been avoiding due to all of my most important documents being on an older version of Word for Mac 2011, and TBH I resent having to pay for a subscription to access my Word & Excel documents for revision or printing, and don't like keeping my documents on the cloud...as required by newer versions of MS Office. Now I have Catalina & the newest version of Firefox and can't do the two most important things I need to do on my computer: Work with my Word docs and Firefox STILL PRODUCES BLANK SEARCH RESULTS PAGES. I've now essentially lost access to all my Office docs due to chain reaction fuster cluck resulting from a blank Firefox search page 2 hours ago. PLEASE ADVISE.

My Google tab won't open anymore in Firefox. I have the latest version. It asks me to restore but nothing happens. I can open google on all other browsers. Safari, Chrome etc. but not Firefox.

I want to delete certain bookmarks but they keep reappearing. I guess it is an issue with synchronization or something. But I cannot find the right options to solve this. I use firefox on my pc and iphone.

I love Firefox, but I'm almost ready to leave. Every time I want to navigate to "shop.bahaiwebsites.com", autocomplete enters "shop.bytique.com", which doesn't exist. How do I stop this autosuggest? Thank you.

Why can the Firefox source code (view-source) of a website be nearly three times the size compared with Chrome/Opera or when I save the Firefox source code marked and copied and then pasted and saved via an editor?

Example: Firefox 546,6 KiB Chrome/Opera 204,3 KiB via Editor 204,3 KiB (marked and copied Firefox source code)

I'm brand new to Firefox (1 week!) and i was doing some copy and pasting in an email (using gmail) and i noticed that every time i tried to paste it would add a space into it. I was copying about 15-20 email addresses so it really slowed me down as i would have to go back and delete the space after the @ symbol every time! Is this a known issue and if so is there a fix? If not is there a way to do a bug report?

I am currently running Firefox on desktop (128.4.0esr) version.

The last few addons that I have installed are not working properly. Or rather, they work just fine, but when I close Firefox and re-open it later, they seem to fail to actually enable. I must go to the about:addons page, disable the addon, and then re-enable it for it to actually work. If I do not do this, it will not be on my toolbar, and the Extensions sidebar button does not show the addon in the list. It's as if it isn't properly installed.

After reading this post: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1420017 I thought maybe my extensions db got corrupted somehow, so I followed their instructions and deleted the extensions.databaseSchema config. And wouldn't you know it, it worked! Once I restarted Firefox, I saw some notifications in the main sidebar menu and was greeted with this: Notifications Once I clicked through them and enabled, everything seemed fine.

However after closing firefox again, the problem comes back. Those exact extensions that I manually approved upon restarting are the ones that are giving me troubles and not enabling properly. An interesting thing I noticed is that these all seem to be extensions that require additional permissions. I enabled the addon and gave them the permissions they requested, so I don't know why they are failing to enable properly on startup.

On a particular webpage NCL cruises ( SHORE EXCURSIONS ) on a page where excursion items are listed . On the bottom of the page states this : 1-12 of 24. NEXT When you click NEXT it should now go to the next page showing 13-24...It does not This function works on Microsoft Edge & Google Chrome.....Cannot find any proper settings to accomplish this function. THxs On Microsoft Edge it was the Pop-Up / Redirect setting " Blocked " with NCL as the exception

My LA TIMES pages won't scroll, they freeze. The Times says it's Firefox and they are correct. When I switch browsers the problem goes away. I've used Troubleshoot and erased the cache and a lot of searching to no avail.

Any insight would be most appreciated.

Don't know what to do with this:

A later version of Mozilla Firefox is required for Prime Video. To update, click the menu button (three horizontal stripes) on the web browser toolbar, click {1>Help<1}, {2>About Firefox<2}, and then click {3>Restart to update Firefox<3}.

Firefox updated on its own without permission.

Allow Firefox to Automatically install updates (recommended) X Check for updates but let you choose to install them

Even with the Check for... checked it still installed the updates. What can I do to stop Firefox from auto updating.

Probably an odd question. I dismissed a sponsored link accidentally on the new tab page that I do use, so I want to get it back as a sponsored link. If I'm going to the site anyway, firefox should get whatever cut it can. How do I restore a dismissed sponsored link? Thanks

Tabs for my website URL, once assigned to a now-deleted container, keep crashing. Deactivating "Container" add-on did not help. My URL opens fine on other computers, other browsers. It seems permanently contaminated by a bad container assignment. No other tabs crash. Help!

Hey, guys. I have a problem when i type ´ + E or ´ + A, it should produces É and Á but it is deleted instantaneously. In firefox search bar it works as expect, but in skype or whatsapp it doesnt. My keybord is abnt2

I'm migrating a bunch of PDFs from an old Windows 8.a computer to a new Windows 11. I located a matrix under settings that offers some choice as to how FF was to handle downloaded PDFs. There are three options: Save, Open, Ask. I want to save only (Opening slows down the migration process). I selected Save in the drop down menu, but FF continue to Open. Can't continue until I solve this problem.
