Quite a few websites don't connect using firefox, but do with other browsers (eg my microsoft account itself). I think it's because I need to install some 'extension'. No. There are a few, and many are major sites who work with other browsers on this machine. Thanks for the idea though, as I'll see what, say, Microsoft itself suggests.
