Kroger web site will not open with fire fox but will open with google chrome. It is my survey site http: not https. I have this setting under privacy and settings. HTTPS-Only Mode ( don't enable HTTPS -only mode -checked) HTTPS provides a secure, encrypted connection between Firefox and the websites you visit. Most websites support HTTPS, and if HTTPS-Only Mode is enabled, then Firefox will upgrade all connections to HTTPS. I don't know who at firefox doesn't understand the point of fullscreen, but the address bar continues to pop up when the mouse reaches the top of the screen and there is no setting to turn this off. It is a comically incompetent choice. No, the chrome folder or extensions don't work. Might just switch back to chrome as this is a pattern with firefox's choices.

I have been using Firefox as my primary browser in Windows and Linux Mint for many years, and I have always found it to work when other browsers would not. Recently (last few months) functions in Ancestry.com stopped working. I thought that the problems were within the Ancestry system, and getting help within Ancestry was very difficult. I finally got a help chat session a short time ago and learned that everything in Ancestry should work using the Chrome browser. Very reluctantly, I loaded the Chrome browser on one of my Windows 11 computers, and suddenly all of the functions within Ancestry worked properly. I sincerely hope that FIrefox will soon resume being fully functional with Ancestry.com.

When I open a new page in Firefox, it is always at the bottom and I have to scroll all the way up to the top of the page? Very annoying!

How do I correct and gain access!!???

Hi, is there a way to disable, or even better, remove entirely, the Google translate bar that is shown on some pages? See attachment. The image is from the following page: https://support.plex.tv/articles/share-and-report/

I have tried to modify 'browser.translations' related settings in 'about:config' page, but no luck so far. If I open the same link in Edge, page is shown without the bar.

Using Win 11 + Firefox 129.0.1.

Hello. I want to check the box for "Open previous windows and tabs," but it is grayed out so I cannot check it. Why is this not available to me? Please fix for me.

I already turned pff the graphic tab preview, but the tab title still pops up when I move my mpuse pointer on a tab. I do not need this and find it terribly annoying. How do I completely deactive this?

I cannot find, from the Menu bar, Tools, Settings, General, scroll to bottom to Config Editor I have not been able to find this "Config Editor". I also did not find .css file in that I might be able to modify. I am not understanding why the option isn't present in the settings for Firefox!

I just downloaded Firefox and designated it as my default browser. The purpose was to get away from using Google Chrome; however, when I go into Firefox, the only options are to search with google????? Please let me know if this can be corrected.

Firefox now asks for primary password every time it starts even if it is not needed to access a site with a saved password. Removing and resetting primary password does not fix the problem.

For System Administrative reasons, I want to disable automatic Firefox updates. Firefox can ask me if I want to install an update, but I get to choose whether or not to update.
