Relay integration in Firefox allows you to create and use email masks when signing up for services, helping protect your personal email. The Firefox Relay integration makes a shortcut icon appear next to email fields on websites, making it easy to quickly generate and insert a mask.

This integration works with Firefox’s Password Manager to automatically fill in these email addresses. This process ensures that your real email remains private while simplifying the use of email masks during online sign-ups.

I prefer not to use Relay’s integration in Firefox, how can I turn it off?

Steps to disable the Relay integration:

  1. On to the top right corner of your Firefox browser, click the menu Fx57menu icon.
  2. From the menu options available, click Settings.
    Settings FX
  3. Under the Privacy & Security section, scroll down to Passwords and uncheck the box for Firefox Relay integration.
    Relay instegration off
  4. Done! From now the Relay integration is off, the shortcut icon will no longer appear while filling the email fields of the websites.
Note: To enable the Relay integration you will need to follow the same steps and mark the checkbox.
