My LA TIMES pages won't scroll, they freeze. The Times says it's Firefox and they are correct. When I switch browsers the problem goes away. I've used Troubleshoot and erased the cache and a lot of searching to no avail.

Any insight would be most appreciated.

A later version of Mozilla Firefox is required for Prime Video. To update, click the menu button (three horizontal stripes) on the web browser toolbar, click {1>Help<1}, {2>About Firefox<2}, and then click {3>Restart to update Firefox<3}.

I am currently running Firefox on desktop (128.4.0esr) version.

The last few addons that I have installed are not working properly. Or rather, they work just fine, but when I close Firefox and re-open it later, they seem to fail to actually enable. I must go to the about:addons page, disable the addon, and then re-enable it for it to actually work. If I do not do this, it will not be on my toolbar, and the Extensions sidebar button does not show the addon in the list. It's as if it isn't properly installed.

After reading this post: [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/que.../1420017] I thought maybe my extensions db got corrupted somehow, so I followed their instructions and deleted the extensions.databaseSchema config. And wouldn't you know it, it worked! Once I restarted Firefox, I saw some notifications in the main sidebar menu and was greeted with this: Notifications https://i.imgur.com/UQI3XZg.png Once I clicked through them and enabled, everything seemed fine.

However after closing firefox again, the problem comes back. Those exact extensions that I manually approved upon restarting are the ones that are giving me troubles and not enabling properly. An interesting thing I noticed is that these all seem to be extensions that require additional permissions. I enabled the addon and gave them the permissions they requested, so I don't know why they are failing to enable properly on startup.

I want to permanently fix the problem

Firefox updated on its own without permission.

Allow Firefox to Automatically install updates (recommended) X Check for updates but let you choose to install them

Even with the Check for... checked it still installed the updates. What can I do to stop Firefox from auto updating.

Unable to use Firefox to access Youtube. Problem started either late last night or early this morning. Whether using a bookmark or entering "Youtube.com" manually, the browser window merely acts as if I'm not even connected to the internet before finally just giving up.

Have tried using both 115.17.0esr (64-bit) and 132.0.2 (aarch64) versions of Firefox (each using a different computer), but YouTube refuses to load.

By contrast, YouTube has absolutely no problem loading using other browsers, the site loads almost instantly.

Hi just added an outlook.com account but I'm not receiving any mail. All I see is an inbox (no folders) and the inbox has no mail. I've used these settings: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1449761 I've tried deleting and re-adding the account and closing and opening it again. Help please!

I have used Thurderbird more than 6 years and it was really good for me without any complaints. However, I updated the email from Supernova to Nebular (128.2.3esr (64-bit) yesterday and I got the following message and I cannot receive any emails now. Fortunately, sending is no problem.

"Sending of username did not succeed. Mail server pop3.mailplug.co.kr responded: invalid command"

I searched the previous similar issues in the forum and I checked my status. However my own was the right one that people recommend.

Receiving Server: pop3.mailplug.co.kr / Port: 995 / SSL/TLS / Normal password Sending Server: smtp.mailplug.co.kr / Port: 465 / SSL/TLS / Normal password

Actually, I am using several pop email apps but I have no any issues on those apps except for the Thunderbird. The problem is Thunderbird is my main app. I am alternatively using outlook but really want to return to Thunderbird. Could you anyone help me out?

Probably an odd question. I dismissed a sponsored link accidentally on the new tab page that I do use, so I want to get it back as a sponsored link. If I'm going to the site anyway, firefox should get whatever cut it can. How do I restore a dismissed sponsored link? Thanks

Tabs for my website URL, once assigned to a now-deleted container, keep crashing. Deactivating "Container" add-on did not help. My URL opens fine on other computers, other browsers. It seems permanently contaminated by a bad container assignment. No other tabs crash. Help!

Hey, guys. I have a problem when i type ´ + E or ´ + A, it should produces É and Á but it is deleted instantaneously. In firefox search bar it works as expect, but in skype or whatsapp it doesnt. My keybord is abnt2

Most of the time Thunderbird is very slow, taking minutes to log in, minutes to download tiny messages, but sometimes is quick. Sometimes Thunderbird complains the password is wrong, but after three retries it accepts the password. Only occasionally it is quick as I'd expect. This has been happening for several months. I had hopes Thunderbird would find and fix the issue without challenge, but as the issue continues I am now raising it formally.

I'm migrating a bunch of PDFs from an old Windows 8.a computer to a new Windows 11. I located a matrix under settings that offers some choice as to how FF was to handle downloaded PDFs. There are three options: Save, Open, Ask. I want to save only (Opening slows down the migration process). I selected Save in the drop down menu, but FF continue to Open. Can't continue until I solve this problem.

I made the mistake of letting the browser automatically update. Today when I turned on my computer Firefox opened a fresh page (deleting all the tabs I had open) asking me if I wanted to import saved passwords and browsing data. That was annoying enough on its own, but instead of importing from the old version, it imported everything from my other browser which I had kept separate and different for numerous reasons.

On top of that, when I try to load web pages of any sort, it just sits there loading and does nothing so the browser is entirely unusable to me right now. Please tell me that there is an easy fix and/or a way to get all my data back.
