ok - i know how to create filters

but what i can not figure is how to "AGREE" with what Thunderbird "SUSPECTS /THINKS" is junk  to avoid having to create filter - part of the adaptive learning that would be effing awesome  - a button next to yellow  "not junk" would read - " yes this is junk" then i don't have to create filters over an over again 

thanks in advance if that setting already exists but i am too knuckle headed to have read it and not understand...

How to reset Firefox browser (profile aka overall browsing) like Chrome reset options? I cannot find anything in Firefox settings page. Is Firefox really growing with Chrome users in 2025?

I am doubtful about Firefox seriousness in growing. I get new number and updates but hardly any changes or improvements in existing features and settings. New bugs, old bugs of ages and some options and features irrelevant in current 2025 time.

Firefox after few weeks starts showing issues in loading pages or consuming all 18 GB (yes, I have this much) or Google sites and pages (like YouTube, google docs, meet) or Microsoft sites and pages (LinkedIn, One drive, MS office 360 suite, One note) not working properly anywhere, both desktop and mobile, so reset might be helpful but Firefox being Firefox from 90s.

Is there any way to stop all tabs from loading in an emergency if by some mistake a large number of tabs are reloaded? If not, where is the proper place to request the ability to stop all tabs from loading?

Hello. I would like to know why certain configs in Firefox dont seem to be available for the regular user. One that I have found is coded but dont understand how to use is stop updates and only allow manual updates. Its seems to be somewhere in code meant for enterprise users. Its valuable because when reading about updates, a whole lot of updates dont apply to me. Bug fixes for a certain application/software is fixed but I never ever even heard of that package. Many updates - I read the info - fall in this category. But I am constantly reminded that an update is available that I dont need. Then I cant stop being reminded unless I update. There is a better way. Pause until the next update would be a good middle line since we dont want to miss a really important update. How do I enable stop updates?

I know where to find bookmarks and how to restore. The parental lock keeps coming back after I deleted it repeatedly, when I try to restore bookmarks. (Power was lost then came back when I turned on computer again bookmarks were gone, with the notation that a file "Parental Lock" was using the bookmarks and they would not be available)

How do I get rid of the Parental Lock permanently, so that I may restore bookmarks ?

Two questions 1. Is there a setting that will result in email links opening in firefox rater than defaulting to microsoft edge?

2. Some applications are just sluggish in firefox but perform fine in microsoft. Same question, is there settings I should look at? Security is set on medium.

Not sure that's the right topic. All of the draft folder icons have turned purple from yellow, including the draft subfolders. I can't delete draft subfolders. One subfolder completely disappeared. I tried repair, but that didn't do anything.

Hi. I did a clean install of Windows 11 yesterday. I reinstalled Firefox with the TreeStyletabs addon. I had saved the old sessionstore files so I thought it would be easy to get my tabs back.

Two things happens.

1) If I copy over a sessionstore.jsonlz4 to the profilefolder, it gets overwritten byt FireFox when I start the browser. 2) If I don't do that and instead click History and then Restore Previous Session Firefox will use the previousjsonlz4 and restore my tabs . But I have to do it everytime I start Firefox. It does 'remember' what I did.

How can I fix this?

Hi. I'm trying to switch from chrome to firefox, and I see this strange, thick gray border/padding around the content of every page I view in the browser.

It's perfectly consistent between tabs and not part of the actual web pages. It grows and shrinks as I resize the window. It makes everything a bit smaller than it is in chrome.

I haven't been able to search and discover what it is/a solution, because the terms I try to search for produce different topics. What is this? Is there a setting I can change to turn it off?

Hi all, In my notebook i use xubuntu 18,04 os with firefox browser pre- installed. As form April 2024 when ubuntu standard support ended i use an ubuntu pro security subscription. Then, some time ago i saw the browser was not updated for over one year remaining at the 113.02 version. So according to ESM instructions i had to go with snap firefox, which i downloaded. I have the following questions for solving some issues: 1. Now i have 2 firefox browsers, one from regular ubuntu deb repositories and the other with snap.I have now to uninstall the old outdated version without causing any problems to the system or loose bookmarks. I will do that via software updater program, via terminal, or is there a recommended procedure ? 2'. Using the snap firefox browser as a default browser, i noticed some kind of malfunctions. p. ex a) trying to attach a file from the computer to an email the browser doesn’ t respond to open file selection. when i press "attach". With the old version this works fine. b) When i tried to export an html bookmarks file for backup, again the browser didn’t respond. This also works fine on the old version. Settings are fine and saved automatically from the previous version Any recommendation will be much helpful.

I have unchecked all boxes under "Search Suggestions-Choose how suggestions from search engines appear." ロProvide search suggestions (unchecked). Firefox ignores this and continues to allow Google to bombard me with unwanted and distracting lists of suggestions. How can I put a stop to this? Thank you!

If I click the cog wheel on a Youtube livestream video in order to change the quality the settings window appears for a second then disappears. It will not stay where it is. It only happens on live streams. Windows 10 Firefox 133.0.3
