Hey! I recently have observed some webserver behavior I want to block or at least get warned in Firefox: When I want to load an URL with HTTPS by explicitly using “https://” in the URL and the webserver does not support HTTPS, I get an error message and nothing happens. This is ok, because now I can decide if I want to communicate with the webserver unsecured by just using HTTP. But some webservers first accept the HTTPS requests and then redirect me to an unsecured http-URL and Firefox silently accepts this without any warning. Is there a way to tell Firefox to warn me before automatically redirecting me to the unsecured http-URL? If the server does not want to offer its content in a secured way, I want to have the possibility to choose if I really want to see the content unsecured. I have also seen the other way round. For example when you want to open http://www.google.com, the Google webserver will answer with an “HTTP 302 Moved” response that redirects the Browser to the secured https://www.google.com URL. I guess this also works the same way when a webserver wants to use HTTP instead of HTTPS. Anyway, I want to get warned if a website wants to redirect me to an http-URL… I definitly do not want to get redirected automatically and silently... Thanks for your help
