attempting to open www.luckysupermarkets.com gives me the error message "server reset while loading" or another error regarding verification. I have checked security and all settings in Firefox, as well as McAfee. I was able to access the site on 17 March but not since. I am running Firefox 37.0.

I have verified that the problem is not specific to Firefox. Same problem with IE.

Today, I tried a different computer, different operating system, different service provider. Same problems.

The company I am trying to contact is trying to convince me that the problem is my computer system, which is overlooking the facts mentioned above. I don't have any idea of what to do next, other than take my business elsewhere.

Fred, it might be quite useful to know your location and such other details as you feel inclined to provide. I appreciate your comments, but I have previously gone through the steps you recommend.

I have checked my system thoroughly, checked out many Mozilla links, etc.

Do a malware check with several malware scanning programs on the Windows computer. Please scan with all programs because each program detects different malware. All these programs have free versions.

Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.

You can also do a check for a rootkit infection with TDSSKiller.

Use most or all of the scanners. Also, if only one program is having issues, the problem is with the program. But if all of your browsers are jammed, the issue is with the computer, firewall, IPS.or modem.

Open the options of all your protection programs. Tell them to leave the browsers alone.
