Saved Flashes No Longer Open In FireFox
I have saved flashes such as animations and even games to my computer so I could always enjoy them, online and offline. However recently I cannot open any of them, it just takes me to the home page and when I try to download them, it does so instantly instead of the brief 15 secs it normally takes and still doesn't open. Flashes work fine on the sites, and it opens in Internet Explorer. I did clear my history so I wonder if I did something to the cookies.

If you still have the links to what you have, try making new links.

Please check if all your plugins are up-to-date. To do this, go to the Mozilla Plugin Check site.
Once you're there, the site will check if all your plugins have the latest versions. If you see plugins in the list that have a yellow Update button or a red Update now button, please update these immediately.
To do so, please click each red or yellow button. Then you should see a site that allows you to download the latest version. Double-click the downloaded file to start the installation and follow the steps mentioned in the installation procedure.
Your System Details shows;
Installed Plug-ins
Adobe Shockwave for Director Netscape plug-in, version 12.1.2.152 Adobe Shockwave for Director Netscape plug-in, version 12.1.1.151
Having two versions of the same program can cause problems.
When you saved the whatever, did you save the web page, or the game?
I usually save link as and it's always worked before, just brings up flash not the web page origin
During the latest update, plugins (some of them) are not automatically enabled.
Open the Add-ons Manager. Press the <Alt> or <F10> key to bring up the tool bar. Followed by;
Windows; Tools Linux; Edit Mac; application name
Then Add-ons.
Hot key; <Control> (Mac: <Command>) <Shift> A)
On the left side of the page, select Plugins.
BTW; At the top right is a link to check your plugins.
Which should I get rid of? Not sure how I have two.
Everything is Activated
Go to Adobe.com.
What I would suggest is to remove both, then install the current. And while you are there, have the web site check your other Adobe programs.
Ok I believe I uninstalled them, and one thing I recently downloaded worked but nothing else I have or recently got. It keep dragging me back to the ask.com page.
I went ahead and reset Firefox, everything new I download works, but old stuff no longer does. While this somewhat solves the problem, is there a solution to salvage what I have?
