when we deploy a firefox update from sccm, if the end users already have firefox opened, all works just fine. however when the end user closes firefox and then wants to reopen it, a pop up will occur indicating that a workstation restart is necessary to complete a prior upgrade. is there anyway of avoiding this? is there a command line switch that we can add in addition to -ms that will prevent this? or is this just a necessary part when updating firefox that a workstation reboot is necessary?

thanks.

Several users have been having issues with the auto-updated. You may be better off using the full installer.
