This particular account worked fine last week but today when I turned my computer on I can't get email from that account. The other 5 I have in Thunderbird work fine. I had a similar problem when I first set up accounts on this particular server in that the 2nd imap account I established had exactly this behavior. I changed it to pop3 and it worked. Now the 1st account won't work properly with imap but the pop3 one still works. What is going on?

I tried all of these things and none of them helped. What does the gold * on the corner of the envelope mean? This particular account has that as if it meant some sort of failure, but I don't get a password notice, or any other notice that I have failed to connect.

I know what starred messages are, we are discussing a star that can appear on the extreme right side of the screen as part of the domain listings..such as username@gmail.com on the master line directly above the directories of that isp.
