I want to create an email account luella@larryhartmanandson.com. I can create it thu Thunderbird and then the gmail screen pops up and wants the username and password. It will not accept any password I give it. I have tried to go into the OPTIONS / SECURITY / PASSWORD menu to change the password. It shows the IMAP email account but not the SMTP account. HOW CAN I FIX THIS? and Thanks in advance :)

Chosen solution

Who is hosting your larryhartmanandson.com domain? Is it appropriate to be using gmail for this? Does the luella account actually exist on a server somewhere? (You can't create email accounts in Thunderbird, but you can add accounts supplied elsewhere into Thunderbird.)

In the Account Settings page, go down to the last account, "Outgoing Sever (SMTP)" to see your smtp set-ups.
