Is there an easy way to copy an email address?
I sometimes need to copy an email address from TB, but I can't seem to find a way to do so. I've tried:
1) Right-clicking on an email address in the left side of TB, looking for an "copy email address" option. 2) Tried to create a new email, in order to highlight my email in the "from" field but that is not possible. 3) Tried to highlight an email address by selecting an email in the left side of TB, and then highlight the big headline where it says "Thunderbird email - <email address>", but that's not possible either
Am I missing an option? And if not, is there a way to request said feature?
Kind regards, Martin M

The easiest way to copy an email address is to bring up an email message from the person. Then click on the email address. It'll be in the header field that says: "From".
Once you click on this you will get a dropdown menu that includes "copy email address".
Other options in the dropdown include:
- Add to Address Book
- Compose Message to
- Copy Email address
- Copy Name and Email Address
- Create Filter From
- Save recipients addresses
- Copy all recipients

My best guess is you're trying to copy an existing account. But that isn't what you said. Please clarify.
Sorry, English isn't my first language.
Yes, I do mean to copy the email of an existing account! :) Can it be done somehow?
I'm not aware of any way doing this out of the box. You may want to search AMO for an extension offering that kind of functionality. https://addons.mozilla.org/thunderbird/
