My wife has done somthing in Thunderbird but dont know what on her PC and now has no toolbar at top when writing emails or when bringing up draft emails. There is now no send button ect. So she can write an email but there is no button to click on to send it ! I have tried to fix it but I / we dont know enough about it to fix it. We have looked at all the menu options but by changing things cause more problems than we fix.

  1. Start a new message, so that you open the Composition window.
  2. In that window press F10 or the alt key to make a menu appear across the top.
  3. In that menu, click View and then Toolbars and tick the Menu Bar checkbox.
  4. Now you have a Menu, you can use it to visit View|Toolbars again and tick the other Toolbar checkboxes.
