Hello, I am trying to help my parents get into their email account: @comcest.net

They use Thunderbird, the account was created in 2006 or earlier, there is no recovery account or number associated with it so we have no way of finding the current password. Could you send a "create new password" link to my email ASAP:

Thunderbird is email client software running on your computer. It has nothing to do with your email password. No one from this forum, which is a public forum staffed by volunteers, or Thunderbird is going to send you anything. Contact your email provider where your email account t is administered for your options to reset a forgotten email password.

Since this is a public forum posting your and your parents personal info is a bad idea.
