Using Firefox for Android on my Galaxy S4. When I first open FF and start typing one letter in the search box, the box is automatically filled with one of my bookmarks matching just on the first letter. This is then followed by the word I was trying to type. For instance, I am typing "Jack" and I end up with "http://www.javavideotutes.com/jack". I delete all my bookmarks, so it happens less now because it doesn't find anything to match. But when I try to type "hello", I end up with "http:/hello". This only started happening after version 28 and updating to KitKat. After I clear the box and type again, it works fine. It only happens with a fresh start of FF. Any ideas?

I have filed a bug on this issue.

Sadly I can only offer a work around at this time. Install the Google keyboard and use it as your input option. I will advocate for fixing this in Firefox 29.

Using the Google keyboard fixes the issue, but I prefer using the Samsung one. So is it a Firefox issue or Samsung keyboard issue? Please include include in FF 29 if possible :) Thanks.

Kevin,

What's the bug number on that issue? Would like to CC to it as my S4 does that too. Found it! Bugzilla was being a pain to navigate!
