I have had an ongoing problem with the Firefox browser. It does NOT happen with my other two browsers, Chrome and Safari. The problem has continued even after updating Firefox. I cut and then when I try to paste the link or text to an email, it does not show up. What to do?

Cut and paste from what site and page so others can confirm the issue or not? Also I done cut/paste from various pages in FF57+ and have no issues.

Hi Westend. Thanks for the response. It seems not to matter WHAT site or where I cut from. When I get to my email (which is where i usually attempt to paste) The "paste" word does not even highlight, therefore not allowing me to paste. It seems to work when I highlight and then cut. It's just when I go to paste..... it will not go there.

In about:config, set dom.event.clipboardevents.enabled back to true. It solved all issues for me with FB and GoogleDocs. See previous discussion.

The value is enabled and set to true, however when I paste, it is pasting older data that I previously copied.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link} by holding down the <Shift> (Mac=Options) key, and then starting Firefox.

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
