When I restart FF it reopens all of my previous tabs. On the premise, that sounds great but it is also opening previously closed tabs that were open then closed as well. It seems as though those tabs aren't being closed but hidden from view initially? How can I solve this?

It also seems to only be in effect when I am overriding styles of tabs with my userChrome.css

Hey there, yeah unfortunately userChrome.css can lead to breakage sometimes, does it still happen when you delete the userChrome.css file?

You can check for problems with the sessionstore.jsonlz4 file in the Firefox profile folder that stores session data.

  • delete sessionstore.jsonlz4 and sessionstore.js

When sessionstore.jsonlz4 is deleted you lose pinned tabs and open tabs and you will have to recreate them, so if necessary make a note or bookmark them.

You can use the button on the "Help -> Troubleshooting Information" (about:support) page to go to the current Firefox profile folder or use the about:profiles page.
