When trying to send e-mail, I get the following message: "Sending of the message failed. The message could not be sent because connecting to Outgoing server (SMTP) outgoing.verizon.net failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connections. Please verify that your Outgoing server (SMTP) settings are correct and try again."

For the user name, I tried using @verizon.net in the user name with no success. I have also tried not using @verizon.net but still no success. The Server Name is "smtp.verizon.net" and the port is set for "465".

Thanks. The problem was the Outgoing Server somehow was switch to Default settings which were wrong but had a similar name to the correct one. These are the settings that works for me for the Outgoing Server Server Name: smtp.verizon.net Port: 465 User Name: with @verizon.net Authentication

     Method: Normal Password

Connection

    Security: SSL/TLS
