When I have Thunderbird open with Firefox, the Thunderbird screen flashes through the Firefox screen, not vice versa. It did not flash through the Explorer screen. when I tried that.

Hi kevodell, I understand that Thunderbird is flashing through your Firefox browser. I am not sure what this means.

Can you please elaborate on the steps that you are taking before this happens? Are you clicking on a link before it flashes etc?

Thank you.

Hello guigs2,

Thanks for your reply. This is difficult to describe so excuse my lack of imagination.......

Using Firefox as my browser, I can open several tabs and everything is fine. If I open Thunderbird, then there is a type of interference. If on Firefox, for example, I moved the mouse, it is almost as if the open Thunderbird is appearing through the browser in flashes. I'm trying to think of another word for it. It is not necessary to move the mouse, but it usually happens when I do. When the Thunderbird tab is on top of the Firefox browser, interference is also taking pace in an intermittent flashing kind of way.

This interference does not happen when it is Thunderbird with Explorer and only happens when Thunderbird is not minimised in the background.

I hope this helps.

Thanks

Kevin

Have just noticed that the interference is happening without Thunderbird as well. Seems to be more likely to happen when the mouse in in the tool bar area, for some reason.
