Just updated to Firefox 17 on my Windows 7 PC. The close tab buttons are now on the left side of the tab instead of the right side. How do I move them back to the right side? I can't find any other help on this and have tried playing around with about:config userchrome, but to no avail. I can change the color, add a button on the bar, but can't affect the positioning of the close tab buttons on the tabs themselves.

HELP!

Do you have any add-on / theme / userstyle installed that controls tab behavior? You can troubleshoot this issue by restarting with add-ons disabled. Also you can reset firefox which, most likely, will fix your problem.

Which content do you currently have in the userChrome.css file?

You either have an extension (e.g. tab related or Stylish) that allows to move that close button to the left position or have code in userChrome.css or you may have changed to a different Firefox locale (less likely because that would have changed a lot more).

It looks like it was something I hadn't expected - my theme. I had played around with disabling extensions manually, but I forgot about safe mode. When the tabs when back to normal with that, I knew it was something. Thanks for your help!
