hello, I would like to recover my deleted Firefox history because this history is very important because it is related to my work, however I have tried a lot of methods to recover my deleted Firefox history as a backup copy, type ipconfig/displaydns , I also downloaded a lot of data recovery software but all these methods gave no results, so what I ask you please is to try recover my deleted Firefox history the days of july 20.21,2024 if you are unable to do this for me please help me contact Mozilla Firefox technical support, I would like to point out that the history I am talking to you about is very important so if you help me I will contact you will be very grateful, thank you for your understanding

I'm moving from an older laptop to a newer one. In the past, I used Sync to transfer bookmarks and other data from an older to a newer system. This time, however, Sync does not appear in the Settings pages. I found "Switching to a New Device" in the Help menu. It engages "Backup Assistant" to collect the data to be transferred (I assume). It first wants me to log in with my Mozilla account. If I enter my account identifier and click "Continue" I receive a "Waiting" graphic that never ends. If I pre-log in to my Mozilla account before engaging Back Assistant, it doesn't make a difference, it still waits forever.

LINUX. see subject, please. i started on this laptop w/ mint. 5 or 6 years ago. then downloaded peppermint 1 and has been working great, but the browser does not update automatically like is said. Then, my Linux guy up and passed away. I know no one in town that uses it. I'M ON LINUX. any help appreciated. have gotten some replies with folk trying to help, but it just wants to download/install whole program. my bank wants me to upgrade to at least 115. can't access accts. Chase are useless. They don't know what Linux is. Perhaps someone here can point me in right direction? Regards. God bless.

In Chromium you can go a page backward or forward by swiping one finger to the left or right. This works really well. I have been missing this feature in Firefox for years now. Without it navigation in the browser is tedious on Linux tablets or phones.

Is something similar ever going to be implemented?

I have tried everything but my sites show up in microfonts and run off the page, examples are Amazon and Mailchimp. I then have to enlarge it and end up scrolling to the right to try and see the whole page. I went to the settings and changed fonts & font sizes but the problem remains. It drives me crazy and it is also time consuming. What am I not doing right or how can I resolve this?

I am trying to log in to my Wise account. The site loads and I have filled in my email and password but when I click on the Log in button nothing happens. On Microsoft Edge it works perfectly. I have had this problem on other sites recently. Roger

I get the green light for creating an account... but it goes yellow tag when I click Done. Will you help, please. I am able to log into my account online with the same PW I have to use in setting up the Thunderbird account. Thanks from a donation customer. //... Joe

I've read several posts about Thunderbird users who receive PDF attachments as "win.dat" files instead. But I have a very different and specific case, where 3 people are all sharing an office and all receiving the same emails from their clients. Two of these folks are getting the PDF attachments properly, but 1 of them always gets the win.dat attachment. They were all using Thunderbird version 102.15.1 so I decided to upgrade them to 115.3.1, and same issue. Just this one user gets win.dat file instead of PDFs. I even updated just that one to 115.5.1 and nothing changed. I've disabled and re-enabled anti-virus software, I've uninstalled and reinstalled Acrobat. I've also made sure to verify under Files & Attachments that PDFs are associated with Acrobat.

Hi, Hopefully someone can help. This started a couple of days ago. I'm actually trying to log in to my own account on Flickr. If I just input Flickr.com, the main front page loads, if I then go to log in, I get: "429 Too Many Requests You have sent too many requests in a given amount of time" on the screen. I've only hit enter once. As far as I can see this is the only site that does this BUT Youtube sometimes plays up, so maybe something is happening in the back ground with that. Might be totally unconnected.

I've tried using Opera (my main back up) and that loads my account just fine. I've tried turning off the extensions Adblock, No Script etc and the 429 error still pops up everytime I go to log in..

Any ideas? Anyone?

Running Windows 11 on a desktop computer with TBird Ver. 115.14.0. From time to time a second identical TBird window will open. Sometimes TBird is closed and the second window opens when the first window is opened. Sometimes the second window simply opens seemingly by itself with the first window having been opened for many hours. How best to fix this slightly annoying problem?

T Bird 102.15.1 64 bit Windows 10. The body text in some of my gmail emails looks like HTML code and not readable text. If I open them in the gmail webpage they are OK. How can I fix this? Do I need a later release?
