I'm facing an extremely bizarre issue in Firefox 134 for Mac. After trying "Increased Protection" DoH mode once, I have google.com working only under this "Increased Protection" now. It no longer works under "Default Protection" or "Off". It's exactly the same in the Troubleshoot Mode and in private windows.

If I type google.com in the address bar, or if I search for anything (regardless if it's in the address bar or the search bar), absolutely nothing happens now. If I'm on a new tab, it stays empty. If I'm on an existing tab, it just stays open on whatever website I'm at. For example, I can try accessing google.com right from here as I'm typing this, and nothing will happen, I will just stay on this page. The only visible activity is that the current website's icon (at the left of the tab) changes to the loading animation for a few seconds and then permanently changes to the hourglass icon. That's it.

Any local google domains, such as google.ca, DO load. Any google.com subdomains, such as mail.google.com, also DO load. It's exclusive to google.com. When typing dig google.com in my system's Terminal, it successfully resolves. Moreover, it also successfully resolves in Firefox's own DNS Lookup Tool (located at about:networking#dnslookuptool). What I'm seeing is Google's IP address 142.250.190.46.

Now, I have google.com working in absolutely all other browsers, it also seems to resolve through the terminal, as mentioned previously, but it no longer opens directly in Firefox, unless I enable "Increased Protection" again. As soon as I disable it and return to either "Default Protection" or "Off", google.com (and it alone) immediately stops loading.

Have I uncovered a hidden bug? I'm really depressed right now, because "Increased Protection" messed with certain websites and so I decided to disable it upon finding out, but unfortunately at the cost of Google Search not working anymore. Do I really have to use other browsers to use Google Search now? And what kind of witchcraft is it? I really don't understand what's going on.

Hi everyone, i have an issue with firefox and docker i work for a company that uses docker container to maintain several projects, up until two days ago i was able to do my job no problem on firefox but then firefox simply stopped working for me and i can no longer see the website when docker containers are running i can see other stuff like storybook that are running in same container groups but not the actual website, and the odd part is that i can see the website in other browsers like chrome and edge, i though about checking another project but is same issue, so i don't know what the issue is but the port destined for previewing the site is not working on any project in firefox but works no problem in other browsers, i already tried clearing cache and incognito mode, rebuilding containers and checking that container is running and port is exposed correctly and it is but for some reason firefox can't display it, and the worst id that i don't even have a clue because there are no entries on the log no requests on network tab no errors on browser console and when i type the url i see the spinner on the tab and after a while it becomes a hourglass and that's it, any ideas what could the problem be?

Facebook won't allow video or voice calls anymore, since introducing End-To-End Encryption (E2EE), specifically only on Firefox. Mozilla needs to fix this.

I reported this 4 months ago and got no useful reaction, and the issue is ongoing, and my last report is clearly dead. I only got one idiot saying "Your answer is in your screenshots". Answer? I didn't ask a question. I reported feedback to fix something.

Ever since Facebook started infesting the chats with end-to-end encryption (random chats get "Messenger upgraded the security of this chat. Messages and calls are secured with end-to-end encryption" without my permission or asking if I want this), any encrypted chats have audio and video calls disabled. I note that I have ONE friend for whom it didn't do this, I can still do calls with her. If I receive a call, I get a pop-up saying that to receive this call I must download the Messenger app (no way) or a browser which supports it. If I check what browsers it thinks supports this, it only lists Chrome and Edge. As far as I know Edge is just Internet Explorer renamed, the biggest black hole in security, I've never touched it. Chrome ignores industry standards, so I don't use it. Making Firefox the best, top browser available. It's the only browser I wish to use. Mozilla needs to look into how to get Facebook to stop blacklisting Firefox like this. Note that this E2EE garbage has only been infecting things for less than a year, before that I was perfectly able to do any calls I wished in Facebook Messenger.

Note that back when I made my previous report, Group Chats were immune, but trying again today making a group chat RIGHT AWAY it marked it as having E2EE applied, so that fix now no longer works.

Can this somehow be brought to Mozilla's attention, to fix whatever Facebook is griping about so Firefox users can stop being blocked from making calls?

Are you aware of the incompatibility of these two government websites that no longer are compatible with Firefox? The VA appointments of the HealtheVet site are no longer working and when I called for support they sent me to the chrome browser and says it is not compatible with Firefox. The same is now also true with the SSA website. This is a problem with Firefox or the government being forced to use chrome compatible sites only. YES, it needs to be fixed on one side or the other. Do I need to contact Congress?

Subject: Issue with ChatGPT – Unable to Transmit, or Receive Messages on Firefox

Message:

Dear Firefox Support Team,

I am running version 134.0

I’m using Firefox on my PC, and I’ve been having trouble with accessing and using the ChatGPT platform. Specifically, when I try to send messages, they don’t transmit or load correctly. The page appears, but it seems as though the messages don’t go through.

Here are some details about the issue:

The problem occurs only when I use Firefox. Other websites and services are working perfectly fine on my browser, so I don't believe it’s an internet connectivity issue, and I have full wifi bars. I can access the site and interact with it on my phone, and on the desktop app (which goes down occasionally), but the desktop version doesn’t work properly. It worked fine for a full day, maybe two. I have a paid subscription. I’ve also noticed the error message in the Console: "Source map error: Error: request failed with status 404" in the Console when I try to interact with the platform. I’ve already tried basic troubleshooting steps, including clearing cache and cookies, disabling extensions, and ensuring my Firefox browser is up-to-date, but the issue persists. Could you please help me figure out what’s causing this problem? Any guidance or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thank you.

In Salesforce, I need to be able to display the preview of template. The page give the error of:

I can't open it in a new tab, or copy the URL because the preview is in a frame inside the Salesforce interface. Whenever I need to use templates I end up opening another browser, which I would rather not do.

I have been trying to log in to a newspaper website for which I have a subscription. This used to work in Firefox without a problem, but for a while now I have been encountering the problem that when I open the website the usual options "Subscribe" and "Log In" are missing. The "Log In" option is available when I open the website in Microsoft Edge. I have attached screenshots showing the missing links.

I have tried troubleshooting and opening in Safe Mode to disable any add-ons but still without success. I am hoping that there may be a simple solution and would appreciate any help.

I am using Windows 11 and Firefox 133.0.3 (64-bit).
