I have this really minor inconvenience because of gmail changing their link from gmail.com to mail.google.com. Typing in "gmail.com" still works and it redirects to the new link, but the autocomplete function doesn't see it as a legitimate link, and doesn't save it, so I end up searching "g" most of the time when I want to access my mail. My question is this: Is there any way/add-on that would allow me to add a custom autocomplete query so that I could just type "g" and access my mail?
Thanks for any help in advance.
i cant use metamask wallet but previosly i can use it

The pop-up that appears is the same as in https://www.reddit.com/r/firefox/comments/1g09q1h/how_to_disable_popup_on_gmail_use_firefox_to_open/
Do note that I'm also using thunderbird and it is installed as the default mail handler in windows.
I've also changed network.protocol-handler.external.mailto to false in the firefox settings. It has not solved the issue, the question re-appears at every firefox startup.
