So, I don't have an issue, I just want to scream because my firefox crashed and when I started it back up it asked me about booting it in safe mode or something, but I didn't want that and the other option was 'refresh firefox'

Nowhere AT ALL does it warn you that it will WIPE your current installation and RESET everything. I had no ideas and had not saved up the content of my OneTab extension in a while, FUCKING THANK YOU FOR THAT.

i just want to know why i got that ( in french) échec du chargement du module on twitch because on chrome that show everything fine but i dont want to use chrome because mozilla is always been better for me. So take a look at the images.

Firefox, when moved, opens in full screen. I've seen the info about hovering over the green button and choosing the correct mode, which doesn't seem to exist. There also seems a key command of Command-Control- (something), that doesn't work. Both of these strategies cause the problem to occur, again. Help? I'm on 132.02/Mac Sequoia. I'm getting the following with some websites since the most recent firefox update. It happens with outlook mail, facebook and my bank (and others) all of which I would expect to be up to date.. Secure Connection Failed

I think browsers should slow down their release cycle and release secure and debugged software. Take the time to fuzz, use static and dynamic security checkers. Maybe a release every 3 months. I am tired of re-imaging and switching between browsers to escape hackers.

I am using Multi-Account Containers, i have 3 pinned tabs all three are Gmail all three different. However when I restart my box and open Firefox again the pinned tabs show up BUT 3 new tabs appear asking me if i want to "Open this site in your assigned Container?". The pinned tabs are blank. If i click "Open in [container name] container" it will open in that new unpinned tab and not the pinned tab. This leads me to have to close my pinned tabs and re-pin each time. Please tell me I am doing something wrong and there is a way out of this madness!!!

at night when I'm through using the computer, my yahoo email is left open on firefox. that's the only window open. in the morning when I return to the PC, my email window is closed. I have to reopen firefox.

if I do the same with Chrome, the yahoo email window is right there when I open the PC.

is their a way of checking why and how firefox closes some time during the night.

When watching a video or a stream if i close the lid of my macbook the video is not paused and when i open it a few minutes/hours laters it will try to resume the video or stream but it's buggy since the macbook entered sleep mode when the lid is closed

How can i force Firefox to pause the video when the lid is closed ?

It's annoying to have a buggy video and sound when opening the macbook because i've closed it on an playing video or stream

On my new laptop I can not see the bookmark menu bar on the left side of the screen. Please help!!

Also, I have trued importing my bookmarks from an html file from my old laptop and that hasn't worked either.

This week, November 2024, I suddenly can't connect to anything mozilla. I received a notice about an update but it wouldn't work. I deleted and reinstalled mozilla (Firefox) and I still can't plus I can't add on any Extensions or anything mozilla related. My other search engines are working fine. Did something go wonky when they did a recent update or what and how do I fix this?

Is there any way to recover my bookmarks and tabs? Everything gone when I logged into my 2017 iMac Ventura 13.7.1. THis happened a few years ago as well. For Command Shift T - what needs to be "open" when i try this? Technically deficient, I am.

For a while now Firefox has what I will call muted audio on Pandora and SiriusXM. I say muted because I can still see the song or show continuing to play on the page, but there is no sound. On Pandora I can pause and then play the song and it will start again. On Sirius, sometimes pausing will work but many times I have to reload the page. It can happen after 30 seconds or 10 minutes, there is no consistency.

This does not happen with other browsers.

Any advice on how to solve this issue?

Running Windows 11 Lenovo laptop Firefox V132.02

Firefox won't load videos that other browsers will. Typically, when I load a page, there's a big blank spot where the embedded video should be -- where the video shows up on Chrome or Safari. I've tried clear the cashes and reloading Firefox, but the problem persists. For many reasons, I'd prefer to use Firefox, but if I can't fix this, I'll stop using it at all. Can anybody suggest ways to fix this?

In Firefox, and Firefox only, in every version for the last several months, I have found it impossible to get Firefox to allow websites to "remember this device", even when I check that option. Every day I log in to a website, for example Tmobile, and I have to get a code emailed to me. I check "remember this device so you won't need a code next time", but the next time I log in, the same thing happens. Over and over with many sites. This does not happen with any other browser, except Firefox. How do I get Firefox to allow me to save my info? I really don't want to use Chrome, Safari, Brave, or Edge, but I do not have this problem with any of them. Only Firefox. And yes, I've checked my settings, and everything I can see says Firefox should be saving this info.

Starting from Firefox 132, HTTP sites cannot be loaded at all.

This is tested on a brand new installation of Firefox 132 without any profiles on Windows 11.
