Unable to use Firefox to access Youtube. Problem started either late last night or early this morning. Whether using a bookmark or entering "Youtube.com" manually, the browser window merely acts as if I'm not even connected to the internet before finally just giving up.

Have tried using both 115.17.0esr (64-bit) and 132.0.2 (aarch64) versions of Firefox (each using a different computer), but YouTube refuses to load.

By contrast, YouTube has absolutely no problem loading using other browsers, the site loads almost instantly.

My LA TIMES pages won't scroll, they freeze. The Times says it's Firefox and they are correct. When I switch browsers the problem goes away. I've used Troubleshoot and erased the cache and a lot of searching to no avail.

Any insight would be most appreciated.

I've asked about this before but got no help Firefox is my browser of choice. Occasionally, I find in necessary to use Chrome.

The vast majority of time, when are both are active at the same time, one or both crash, like today. Firefox closed abruptly, then the crash report appeared. I have the crash report. Chrome froze up, and had to be shut down in Task Manager.

It only occurs in this scenario. Rarely does Firefox crash otherwise.

Can someone please advise where to go to get help?

Firefox automatically adding the https to our internat Intranet and I cannot access it. Auto adding the https is off. This site is only available within our firewall. I have had access forever until recent updates have made it impossible to access it.

I type in the URL: ourintranet/ and that has always gone to the site. Now, it is changing it to https://ourintranet/ when I hit enter...never done this before. I have this setting: Don’t enable HTTPS-Only Mode enabled.

Are there settings in Firefox that can solve the problem? Or is more information needed from me? I have been using Firefox for many years, and am reluctant to switch to another browser.

I starting having trouble getting Firefox to open last week on a win 10 PC. I could only open a window if I ran as administrator. If I got a window open, then it would not go to any website I tried. I thought it was issues with my PC because it is old and I was having other issues as well. I got a new Win 11 PC and fire fox opened when I first downloaded it but now, I can't get it to open again. It is my preferred browser of choice. Any help on this? TIA, Stephanie

Hello, I've encountered a weird issue with my Firefox browser. If I touch ANY key on my keyboard (mouse is fine) while it is the focused window, it will crash instantly. No question or hesitation. Started at least a week ago, but not sure since I don't type much on this browser, so earlier crashes (very few) could correlate too. Having to use Chrome to actually make this post.

Yes it is updated. Yes I tried opening a second window (crashes both). Yes I tried opening a second window in incognito (crashes both). Yes I've tried safe made by holding Shift while opening. Still crashes, every time.

This past week or two I suddenly have started having trouble connecting to anything connected with Mozilla as well as a few other websites. I didn't notice until I received a notice about a recent Firefox update but Firefox wouldn't update. I ended up uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox and now in addition to that and loosing all my saved themes, add ons, bookmarks, passwords, etc. I can not even add on anything such as ad blockers for example. I am not sure what changed or maybe I made a minor change and forgotten about it but it's very frustrating. I have gone on here searching and trying suggestions using a chrome because I can't do much on Firefox now but I've gotten nowhere. Please Help!

I am trying to read the Wall Street Journal online, but I receive the subject message. Not a problem with other browsers. I need a relatively easy fix to continue with Firefox as I am not a sophisticated trouble shooter

When I click on edit in WordPress to edit a post on my website, all I get is a white page. It works fine on Chrome, thank God, so I can keep it going. It worked fine 2 weeks ago.

There appears to be an issue regarding login to Instacart. I contacted Instacart and reported that clearing my history did not resolve the issue. Chrome allows the login. Please try to resolve this issue. Thanks. Rich

I am trying to fix Firefox performance issues. I recently changed to Firefox to escape forced ads on chrome and the lost support for the Ublock origin. But I am having difficulty performing tasks and pages That I used to be able to do on Chrome with no difficulty.

When I open multiple tabs at once the tabs freeze up when trying to load and already opened tabs freeze and anything streaming also freeze. It takes tons of time to load multiple tabs and even sometimes single tabs depending on the website. This never happened with Chrome and I understand Firefox is not as refined as Chrome and is far younger than Chrome is but I feel like it shouldn't be this bad. Is there any settings maybe or maybe settings/preferences in the config area area that might help with faster performance and increased multitasking ability in the Firefox browser?

I have tried

1. Updating Firefox - I am running the most up to date version 2. Updating Graphics Drivers- I am running the most up to date drivers(Updated yesterday 11/17/2024 3. Deleting Cache/History/Logs 4. removed or disables unneeded extensions that I don't use every day and only activate when I need them.

None of this has worked to increase performance.

P.S. I would also like to fix the problem where firefox is using too much RAM if possible.

I was able to use it this morning, but now it is blocked. The help is not helpful because it only says to open the link in a new tab which does not make any difference. I get this same error randomly on marthastewart.com, foodandwine. com and others.

How do I tell firefox that these pages are okay? I have added them all in the exceptions part of enhanced tracking, but that does not make any difference.

Firefox, when moved, opens in full screen. I've seen the info about hovering over the green button and choosing the correct mode, which doesn't seem to exist. There also seems a key command of Command-Control- (something), that doesn't work. Both of these strategies cause the problem to occur, again. Help? I'm on 132.02/Mac Sequoia. at night when I'm through using the computer, my yahoo email is left open on firefox. that's the only window open. in the morning when I return to the PC, my email window is closed. I have to reopen firefox.

if I do the same with Chrome, the yahoo email window is right there when I open the PC.

is their a way of checking why and how firefox closes some time during the night.

This week, November 2024, I suddenly can't connect to anything mozilla. I received a notice about an update but it wouldn't work. I deleted and reinstalled mozilla (Firefox) and I still can't plus I can't add on any Extensions or anything mozilla related. My other search engines are working fine. Did something go wonky when they did a recent update or what and how do I fix this?
