Since yesterday I've been unable to download emails with a pdf attachment. All other mails come in no problem. I've scanned for malware, and also tried temporarily disabling anti-virus software, but it hasn't helped. If I log into our ISP webmail the mails are there and I can read them online. ISP says there's no problem at their end.

It isn't linked to sender. If someone sends a message with text, it gets through. If they then attach a pdf, it doesn't download. It doesn't prevent later messages from downloading - it just seems to skip over them.

Google isn't helping...

Mozilla Thunderbird mail client on Win10, Windows Defender antivirus. Have also tried updating Thunderbird, made no difference.

Grateful for any suggestions...

EDITED - Found all mails with attachments at the bottom of the list! All mails with no attachment were in date order, then at the bottom of the list were all mails with attachments, also in date order! I have no idea how this happened, but clicking on the date header sorted everything out!

It would have happened when you accidentally clicked on the Attachment heading and sorted your mail by attachment
